📌 Position & Opportunity Overview

Jadavpur Restaurant is currently seeking two dedicated professionals to join our team: a skilled Bengali All-Rounder Chef and a Service Boy. This is a full-time opportunity for individuals who are passionate about authentic Bengali food and providing excellent hospitality. The role requires immediate availability and a strong commitment to maintaining high standards of food quality and customer service.

🎯 Key Responsibilities & Day-to-Day Operations

• For the Bengali All-Rounder Chef:*
• Prepare authentic Bengali dishes including fish curries, vegetable preparations, and traditional sweets.
• Manage kitchen operations, ensuring hygiene, inventory management, and timely meal preparation.
• Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure smooth service during peak hours.
• Maintain consistency in taste and presentation across all menu items.

• For the Service Boy:*
• Greet guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders and communicate them clearly to the kitchen.
• Serve food and drinks promptly, ensuring tables are clean and well-maintained.
• Handle billing and payments efficiently.
• Assist in setting up and clearing tables, and maintaining overall floor cleanliness.

🌟 Required Skills, Specialities & Candidate Preferences

• Chef: Proven experience in Bengali cuisine is mandatory. Ability to handle multiple dishes simultaneously and work under pressure. Knowledge of local ingredients and traditional recipes is a plus.
• Service Boy: Good communication skills in Bengali and English. Positive attitude, punctuality, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in restaurant service is preferred but not strictly required for freshers with the right attitude.
• Both roles require a clean background and a willingness to learn and grow with the restaurant.

💰 Compensation, Work Schedule & Workplace Perks

• Salary: Negotiable based on experience and skills.
• Meals: Free food and accommodation provided (Thaka Khawa Free).
