A well-established resort located near Manali is seeking a skilled Commis 1 level chef to join their culinary team. This role requires a professional who is proficient in both North and South Indian cuisines. The position is designed for experienced candidates who can maintain high standards of food quality and kitchen efficiency in a resort setting.

🎯 Key Responsibilities & Day-to-Day Operations

• Prepare and cook a variety of North and South Indian dishes according to the resort's menu and guest preferences.
• Assist the senior kitchen staff in daily food preparation, plating, and service.
• Maintain strict hygiene and safety standards in the kitchen area.
• Manage inventory of ingredients and ensure minimal wastage.
• Support the head chef in menu planning and special event preparations.
• Ensure timely delivery of food items to the dining area or guest rooms.

🌟 Required Skills, Specialities & Candidate Preferences

• Proven experience as a Commis 1 or similar junior chef role in a resort or hotel environment.
• Strong command over both North Indian (e.g., curries, tandoori items) and South Indian (e.g., dosas, idlis, sambar) cooking techniques.
• Ability to work under pressure during peak dining hours.
