📌 Position & Opportunity Overview

A new hospitality establishment in Barasat, Kolkata is urgently hiring kitchen staff for its upcoming launch. This is a full-time opportunity for experienced and entry-level cooks to join a growing team. The roles cover multiple culinary sections including Indian, Chinese, Tandoor, and Bengali cuisines, along with utility support.

🎯 Key Responsibilities & Day-to-Day Operations

• Indian & Chinese Commis (Level 1 & 2): Assist senior chefs in preparing and plating dishes, manage station hygiene, and handle basic cooking tasks under supervision.
• Tandoor Commis (Level 1 & 2): Operate the tandoor oven, prepare dough for rotis and naans, and ensure consistent quality and temperature control.
• Bengali Commis (Level 1 & 2): Specialize in preparing authentic Bengali dishes, managing spice blends, and assisting in the execution of regional menus.
• KST/Utility Staff: Maintain kitchen cleanliness, manage inventory, assist in food prep, and support overall kitchen operations.

🌟 Required Skills, Specialities & Candidate Preferences

• Proven experience in the respective cuisine sections (Indian, Chinese, Tandoor, or Bengali).
• Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment during peak hours.
• Immediate joiners are preferred due to the urgent nature of the requirement.
• For utility roles, physical stamina and attention to detail are essential.

💰 Compensation, Work Schedule & Workplace Perks

• Indian/Chinese/Tandoor/Bengali Commi-1: ₹18,000 - ₹20,000 per month.
• Indian/Chinese/Tandoor/Bengali Commi-2: ₹14,000 - ₹16,000 per month.
• KST/Utility: ₹10,000 - ₹12,000 per month.
• Full-time employment with regular shifts.
