A vegetarian restaurant in Electronic City, Bengaluru is hiring an experienced Indian Cook. This is a full-time role focused on preparing high-quality vegetarian meals for daily service. The position is ideal for a cook who is comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen environment and can maintain consistent taste and presentation standards.

🎯 Key Responsibilities & Day-to-Day Operations

• Prepare a variety of Indian vegetarian dishes, including curries, sabzis, and rice preparations, according to the restaurant's menu.
• Ensure all food items are cooked fresh, hygienically, and to the required quality standards.
• Manage kitchen inventory, including checking stock levels of vegetables, spices, and dry ingredients.
• Maintain strict cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen area, including proper storage of raw and cooked food.
• Assist in plating and serving food as per the restaurant's presentation guidelines.
• Coordinate with the front-of-house staff to ensure timely order preparation and service.

• Proven experience in Indian vegetarian cooking, preferably in a restaurant setting.
• Strong knowledge of spice blends, oil usage, and traditional Indian cooking techniques.
• Ability to work under pressure during peak hours while maintaining quality.
