Senior Cook – Chinese & Continental / Assistant Cook / Kitchen Helper

📌 Position & Opportunity Overview

• Senior Cook – Chinese & Continental – Lead Chinese and Continental stations, ensure quality and hygiene.
• Assistant Cook – Support the chef with cooking tasks, cutting, chopping and overall kitchen upkeep.
• Kitchen Helper – Perform basic prep, cleaning, mopping and food packaging duties.

🎯 Key Responsibilities & Day-to-Day Operations

• Senior Cook – Chinese & Continental*
• Prepare authentic Chinese and Continental dishes as per menu standards.
• Supervise kitchen cleanliness and enforce sanitation protocols.
• Train junior staff on cooking techniques and safety.
• Coordinate with kitchen helper for ingredient prep.

• Assistant Cook*
• Assist the senior chef in cooking, seasoning, and plating.
• Execute cutting, chopping, and basic prep work.
• Maintain workstation cleanliness throughout the shift.
• Support daily kitchen operations and stock replenishment.

• Kitchen Helper*
• Perform vegetable and meat cutting, chopping, and portioning.
• Clean and mop kitchen floors, workstations, and equipment.
• Pack cooked food for service or delivery.
• Provide miscellaneous support to ensure smooth kitchen flow.

🌟 Required Skills, Specialities & Candidate Preferences

• Proficiency in Chinese and Continental cooking techniques (for Senior Cook).
• Strong knife skills – cutting, chopping, and portion control.
• Ability to maintain high standards of kitchen hygiene.
• Experience preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn.
• Basic understanding of PF & ESIC processes is a plus.

💰 Compensation, Work Schedule & Workplace Perks

• Salary: ₹20,000 (Senior Cook) / ₹17,000 (Assistant Cook) / ₹13,000 (Kitchen Helper) + PF + ESIC.
• Work Hours: 10‑hour shifts, morning start at 10:00 AM.
• Benefits: Free room accommodation, free meals, statutory PF & ESIC contributions.
• Salary Disbursement: Paid on the 7th of every month.
• No registration or joining charges.
