Chinese Chef & Kitchen Helpers

🍳 Station Scope & Service Rhythm

We run a small eat‑in outlet near UPES Bidholi, Dehradun. The kitchen needs a Chinese Chef to lead the wok station and two Helpers to assist with prep, washing and plating. The chef will fire the wok, control flame intensity, manage oil levels and execute classic dishes such as Manchurian, Hakka noodles and fried rice. Helpers will chop veg, marinate meat, keep the work‑top clean and replenish stock during service.

🔪 Key Operational Responsibilities

• Chef: plan daily mise‑en‑place, maintain spice inventory, monitor cooking times, ensure each plate matches the recipe’s taste and visual standards.
• Helpers: wash and dry utensils, slice onions, garlic and chilies, arrange garnish, clear used plates and assist with simple stir‑fry under chef’s direction.
• All: follow personal hygiene rules, wear clean aprons, wash hands before each task, and keep the kitchen floor free of spills.

📋 Trade Skills & Experience Criteria

• Chef: minimum 1 year experience in a Chinese kitchen, comfortable with high‑heat wok cooking, knows basic sauces and seasoning balance.
• Helpers: willingness to learn, basic knife handling, able to stand for long periods.
• Both: punctual, can handle a busy lunch‑dinner rush, speak basic Hindi/English.
