This policy is issued by MaBapu Foods OPC Pvt. Ltd. / Mabapu Foods (OPC) Private Limited. Throughout this policy, the terms “MaBapu Foods”, “Mabapu”, “Company”, “we”, “us”, and “our” refer to MaBapu Foods.

We use email, SMS, WhatsApp, push notifications, website notifications, dashboard notices, in-app notices, and other communication channels to provide services, process orders, secure user accounts, send updates, share recipes, publish magazine content, promote products, display advertisements, and communicate with users.

MaBapu Foods may send different types of communications depending on how you use the platform.

5. Transactional and Service Emails

Transactional and service emails are necessary communications related to your use of MaBapu Foods. These are not primarily promotional in nature.

6. OTP, Login, and Account Security Emails

We may send OTP emails, verification links, password reset links, login alerts, account security warnings, and suspicious activity notices to protect user accounts.

OTP and security messages may be sent when you:

Users should not share OTPs, password reset links, login links, or verification codes with anyone. MaBapu Foods will never ask you to share your password or OTP through unofficial channels.

7. Registered User Communications

When a user signs in, registers, creates an account, places an order, or uses the platform, the user may receive necessary service communications related to account, orders, OTPs, security, support, policy updates, and platform operation.

Registered users may also be enrolled to receive MaBapu Foods content updates, weekly newsletters, magazine letters, recipe updates, product recommendations, and promotional communications where the user has provided consent, accepted relevant policies, selected communication preferences, or where such communication is otherwise permitted by applicable law.

Registered users can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time. Unsubscribing from marketing emails will not stop necessary OTP, order, payment, delivery, refund, account security, legal, or service communications.

Recommended platform setting: during registration, clearly show that users may receive weekly newsletters, magazine letters, product offers, and recipe updates, with an option to unsubscribe anytime.

8. Manual Newsletter and Magazine Subscription

Users may manually subscribe to MaBapu Foods newsletters, recipe updates, magazine letters, product alerts, festival offers, chef updates, and promotional communications through website forms, popups, checkout forms, footer forms, landing pages, or subscription feeds.

Where manual subscription is used, the user may receive a confirmation email containing a confirmation link.

The user will be added to the newsletter or magazine subscription list only after confirming the subscription through the confirmation link or other verification method enabled by MaBapu Foods.

If the user does not confirm the subscription, MaBapu Foods may not activate marketing subscription, but may retain limited subscription attempt records for security, abuse prevention, and audit purposes.

Confirmation links may expire after a limited time. Users may request a new confirmation link by subscribing again.

9. Weekly Newsletters and Magazine Letters

MaBapu Foods may send weekly newsletters and magazine letters containing:

Frequency may be weekly, fortnightly, monthly, seasonal, festival-based, campaign-based, or otherwise decided by MaBapu Foods.

We may personalize newsletters and magazine letters based on user preferences, order history, browsing activity, recipe interest, location, language, cart activity, and communication settings, where permitted by law and platform settings.

10. Promotional Emails and Offers

Users may opt out of marketing communications by:

These messages are generally required for active chef, affiliate, seller, or payout participation. Opting out of such messages may affect the user’s ability to participate in earning, payout, affiliate, marketplace, or settlement features.

16. Legal, Compliance, and Policy Update Communications

MaBapu Foods may send legal, compliance, and policy update communications where necessary.

These may include:

  • Return and Refund Policy updates;

Users may not be able to opt out of legal and compliance communications where such messages are necessary for platform operation, contract enforcement, legal compliance, account safety, consumer protection, or dispute resolution.

17. Advertising on MaBapu Foods

MaBapu Foods may display advertisements on the website, recipe pages, product pages, magazine pages, newsletters, emails, and other digital properties.

We aim to avoid unnecessary or excessive communication, but frequency may increase during order activity, account security events, festival campaigns, legal changes, or active support cases.

24. Accuracy of Contact Details

Users are responsible for providing accurate and updated email addresses, mobile numbers, shipping addresses, billing details, and account information.

MaBapu Foods is not responsible for missed communications, failed OTPs, failed order updates, failed refund notices, failed payout notices, or account issues caused by incorrect or outdated contact details provided by the user.

For chef, affiliate, seller, or payout users, incorrect email, mobile number, bank details, PAN, GSTIN, FSSAI details, or KYC information may delay approval, payout, settlement, or compliance processing.

25. Misuse of Communication Systems

Users must not misuse MaBapu Foods communication systems.

Prohibited conduct includes:

  • submitting fake email addresses;
  • subscribing others without permission;
  • misusing OTPs;
  • sharing OTPs or login links;
  • sending abusive replies to support teams;
  • using forms for spam;
  • injecting malicious links;
  • using bots to subscribe or unsubscribe repeatedly;
  • attempting to manipulate affiliate tracking;
  • abusing confirmation links;
  • creating fake accounts for coupon, coin, or promotion abuse;

Misuse may result in account suspension, subscription removal, order cancellation, payout hold, fraud review, legal action, or reporting to authorities where appropriate.
