A prominent real estate company is expanding its hospitality operations by launching a clubhouse facility in Chandigarh. The venue features a dedicated restaurant and 24 residential rooms, creating a high-volume environment that requires skilled culinary professionals. We are currently seeking experienced Commis 1, Commis 2, and Demi Chef de Partie (DCDP) candidates to join the kitchen team. This is a full-time opportunity for chefs who want to work in a structured, corporate-backed establishment with consistent service hours.
🎯 Key Responsibilities & Day-to-Day Operations
- Curry & Tandoor Section: Prepare and execute daily menus for Indian curries and tandoori items, ensuring consistent taste, presentation, and portion control.
- Pan-Asian & Chinese Section: Handle the preparation of Pan-Asian and Chinese dishes, maintaining strict hygiene standards and flavor profiles specific to these cuisines.
- Kitchen Operations: Assist senior chefs in mise en place, inventory management, and maintaining a clean, organized work station.
- Service Support: Coordinate with the front-of-house team to ensure timely order delivery and address any kitchen-related queries during peak hours.
- Quality Control: Monitor food quality at every stage of preparation to meet the high standards expected by the real estate company’s clientele.
🌟 Required Skills, Specialities & Candidate Preferences
- Culinary Expertise: Proven experience in either Curry/Tandoor or Pan-Asian/Chinese cooking. Candidates with cross-cuisine knowledge are preferred.
- Role-Specific Experience:
- DCDP: Must have strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a section independently.
- Commis 1 & 2: Solid foundational skills in knife work, cooking techniques, and kitchen safety.
- Work Ethic: Ability to work under pressure during peak dining hours and maintain a positive attitude in a team setting.
- Immediate Joiners: Candidates available to start immediately after a successful trial period are preferred.
